Founded in 2010, ChainCraft develops proprietary mixed-culture fermentation technology to convert organic sidestreams into medium-chain fatty acids (MCFAs). As PACE coordinator, the company leads the project's overall implementation, demonstrating Europe's first-of-its-kind full-scale retrofitted biorefinery while advancing circular chemistry through industrial biotechnology.
